Make sure to read their fine print!! Let me start off by saying I own a couple other SDHQ products and they have been great, but never have ordered from them directly.
I was looking at purchasing their billet terminal kit and billet battery holder for my tacoma. Although I thought the billet terminal kit was overpriced at $173, I decided to order it anyways (along with the billet battery holder at $55). They make you check a box that says "I have read and agree to SDHQ's Shipping & return policy" which from my experience a lot of companies do meaning they may charge a restocking fee for some items or are not responsible for lost or stolen shipping items. I completely understand that. So yes I check the box without reading the fine print (because who does), and then comes the checkout screen which says FREE shipping, Place the order and then I get another email a few minutes later saying I owe them more money. I have spent thousands of dollars on aftermarket parts from many different online companies/small businesses but I have never come across an ecommerce business that handles online orders like this. Pretty frickin lame if you ask me. Maybe ask how other small businesses handle their shipping instead of making people pay twice? I suppose I could understand if I was ordering a big bumper, prinsu rack, or some gigantic part but I wasn't. This place is absolutely amazing!!! If you are customizing your off road vehicle, this is truly a dream come through location. On hand supply is completely bunkers, with everything from wheels to exterior lighting and sooooooo much more. Your off road vehicle will thank you . You cannot miss this building right off the main road.

We have a 2018 Toyota 4Runner with a custom suspension and lift, and we have been bringing the 4Runner here for about 5 years. SDHQ has always been honest. A Toyota dealership tried to tell us our rotors and brake pads were bad, and they tried to charge us $1500 to replace them. SDHQ had installed after-market slotted rotors and brake pads, so we took the vehicle to them. Turns out the rotors and brakes were just fine. The quotes for work are always accurate, and they do not try and upcharge for additional services. The only thing that was wrong was the rear brake pads needed to be replaced for $80 for the pads.

I love this place! They have a massive selection of high-quality aftermarket parts for your off-road rig as well as accessories. Quality all the way with the brands you won't find in any other 4WD store. SDHQ is my go-to for fuel fittings because they have walls of every conceivable fitting made. When I need something fast, I can run over there knowing they have it. If you like to fab your own bumpers, racks, suspensions, etc.. they have all the pre-formed pieces in aisles of bins ready to grab. The list goes on and on. No where else in the valley has this selection in stock. Despite some of the other reviews, I have found the employees to be super helpful and nice; never a bad experience!

SDHQ team is one of the most professional shops I have worked with. They treat you as if was their rig as soon as you enter to door. I recently worked with Big Red and wow what customer service! Personable, friendly and above all professional. Highly recommended! I will return!!

I have used SDHQ for several purchases. On one of my purchases HDSQ sold me the connections for the power steering lines. Costing $70 I put it together and it leaked badly. I came back to tell them about the problem and I was asked if the connection is on the high pressure side or the low pressure. I told them it was on the high pressure side. I purchased the parts costing me another $70. They didn't have the high pressure hose in small quantity, so I went to another store. When I discussed the need at the other store, they asked the same question. High pressure side? Yes I told them. They said that the HDSQ fittings I purchased would only handle up to 300 PSI and the high pressure side is anywhere from 1000 to 1,500 PSI. So I took the parts just purchased from HDSQ back. While there I said that I was "pissed off" at having to bring back $70 worth of parts (which were purchased for the second time $140). Also they don't credit your card, but give you credit in the store to purchase at another time. No problem with this, but Ryan, obviously the owner, came up to me and said. "we'll give you the entire credit now, but you'll never purchase from us again." WHAT, why, because I said I was pissed off??? His customer service sold me the wrong parts TWICE. I had to drive 25 miles each way 4 times. Don't I have a right to be pissed off, if his employee (who was very nice by the way) is ignorant of what should be sold given the situation. I feel like Mr. Ryan is a premadona and that's saying it nicely. By the way Ryan, I usually pay with cash, so if I want to go into your stores and buy something I will, but don't count on getting any business from me. You need to take some customer service classes.

How it ended-
I could not listen to you belittling us behind the counter any longer, and I stepped in, refunded you the $50 for the fittings you returned, and included an extra $20 for your gas.
Back story-
What you asked for and what we sold you as you requested - "I need the exact same fittings as this" (showing us your foot hose section with fittings installed). We provided you the same fittings, Fragola Power Steering fittings, with a 2250psi rating. We attempted to explain the difference between the hose you used (non-power steering hose not purchased here) and the correct hose (2250 psi power steering hose) you should use with those fittings. We do not offer the power steering hose in a 6-inch section, and you did not want to buy a foot, so we recommended you go to the hydraulic hose store and purchase the correct hose.
You then came back angrily, telling us how we sold you the wrong items and how pissed you were. We attempted to lay out the facts again, but you were too busy talking down to the people trying to help you to listen.
We are not a place where you can talk to people like you did and continue shopping here. We have done nothing but help you every time you come in here and answer all your questions, all without you leaving a positive review. Yet you act out, get called out because of your actions, get refunded in full, get $20 in gas for your "troubles," and then you decide to leave us a poor review? I've been a long time customer of SDHQ for their service and always having the products that I need. Today.. reach a whole new level of service. i placed an online order and received a confirmation that it was shipped with a tracking # 10 minutes later. that's what you call FAST service! i don't know if usain bolt could've done jt faster. very happy with my ordering process from start to finish. i highly recommend SDHQ!

Avoid at all costs unless you want to be lied to and overcharged. Mis diagnosed issue with my truck which had some slip in the axle.
My tires were simply too big for my stock 3.42 ratio they either didn't do the work or straight lied to me but they tried to tell me it was my headlights and hood. Literally laughable when I got there I said ok show me and nothing happened. Then they told me it was my spindles which are solid as a rock. This place is a joke I took it to lowboy Motorsports and Todd told me for free what it was in 5 minutes. The customer threatened us with poor reviews if we did not refund our check over fee. We offered to have the technician go over all the things we found with him in person, but that offer was turned down with a flurry of disrespectful language.
The customer understood that we charge $145 for a check over / diag charge. He paid a deposit and scheduled for us to go over work that was not performed here. What was scheduled was a check over with the customer giving us the following info at the time of drop off
-FRONT END CHECK OVER- STRANGE POP SOUND WHEN TURNING/GOING OVER DRAINAGE'S IN STREET
-CUSTOMER SWEARS IT IS THE FOX SHOCKS & STATES HE IS GOING TO HAVE FOX WARRANTY OUT THE SHOCKS
What we found and 100% stand behind-
-AT FULL DROOP FACTORY UPPER ARMS ARE MAKING CONTACT WITH COILOVERS
-NOISE IS ALSO COMING FROM FRONT BUMPER/GRILLE
-INNER TIE RODS ARE BAD
-SOME CREAKING COMING FROM COIL-OVER OR UCAS / NO REAL POPPING - CAN'T SAY IF IT IS FROM INSTALL ISSUE OR AFTERMARKET PARTS COMBO
